In a challenging match, SHS faced a formidable opponent in EHS, who secured an 8-0 victory. While SHS was outmatched for much of the game, they showed clear improvement as the game progressed, particularly in building out from the back — a key focus for the team this season.

EHS controlled 58% of the possession, with sharp passing that totaled 165 completed passes at a 93% accuracy rate. SHS struggled to match EHS’s pace early on, completing 10 passes in the first half and lacking any attacking chances in the final third. However, SHS’s defense registered 8 tackles in the first half and 6 more in the second, showing resilience against the constant EHS pressure.

As the match went on, SHS began to settle into their game plan, improving their ability to play out from the back despite EHS's dominance. Although they failed to register a goal, SHS’s defensive discipline and determination showed promise, particularly with more sustained possession periods and more cohesive ball movement.

Despite the scoreline, SHS can take pride in their progress and will look to build on the positives as they continue to develop their playing style. EHS's finishing quality was the deciding factor, but SHS’s growth throughout the match points to a bright future.
