The Stockbridge Varsity Soccer team faced Quincy in a hard-fought match. Stockbridge started slow and found themselves down 2-0 by halftime. Stockbridge showed resilience and determination in the second half to rally back.
Senior Mateo Ortiz-Martinez led the charge, scoring a goal while also anchoring the defense. Junior Daniel Villegas created pressure that led to an own goal by a Quincy defender, bringing Stockbridge within one. Despite several late opportunities, Stockbridge couldn't find the equalizer, ultimately falling 2-3 to Quincy.
