MAPLE VALLEY JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL: 26
The 8th Grade Boys opened the game with a 21-0 lead after the 1st quarter and 35 - 4 halftime lead at the half in the first game of the Big 8 MS Tournament. The Panthers would win 54 - 26 at host Maple Valley Monday night to advance to play the Concord/Springport Game winner at 7:00 Wednesday.
The team played exceptionally well together will all 13 of the athletes recording at least one made basket. The team was led by Jonathan Crow with 11 points.
The team improved to 10-0 on the season.
