CONCORD MIDDLE SCHOOL: 10
The Stockbridge 8th Grade Boys traveled to Concord in a rematch of their season-opening weekend. The Panthers saw 12 of 13 players get in on the scoring with no player scoring in double-digits. Remington Christie and Jonathan Crow led with 9 points each and Evan Lockhart with 8.
The boys continued their great team defense and selfless offense in the victory. Leaping out to a 25-4 lead after the 1st quarter allowed the team to work on a new offensive set as they prepared for the remainder of the season.
The win pushed the team's record to 7-0 this season. They will host Maple Valley on Monday and then enjoy a Thanksgiving Break before returning to close out the regular season with a trip to Bronson and a visit from Union City. The team will wrap up their inaugural season in the Big 8 with a three-day conference tournament hosted at Maple Valley.
