8th Grade Boys Basketball starts fast and finishes strong on their way to a 2-0 start to the season.

The Middle School Boy's Basketball Team opened the season with a doubleheader hosted at Concord High School.
Game 1 saw the Panthers play Springport. The team got out to a fast start, scoring 30 1st quarter points, on their way to a 43-22 halftime lead. The team continued with their strong performance in the 2nd half outscoring the the Spartans 19-6 for a final score of 62-19.
The Panthers got scoring from 8 players, led by 23 from Jonathan Crow and 18 from Evan Lockhart.

In the second game of the day the Panthers played host Concord. Once again, the Panther's stingy defense and up-tempo play early saw them lead 38 - 15 at the half. Great team play and ball control helped them extend their lead in the second half as they outscored the Yellow Jackets 20-10. Final score 58-25.
The team was led in scoring by Crow with 28 and Lockhart with 10.
