On 9/28 the Stockbridge Middle School Cross Country Team had a home invite. Let’s just say it was a beautiful day for race day. Almost every single runner on the team either had a season record (SR) or a new personal record (PR). This does not happen often, which just makes it ten times better. I want to do a few shout outs to some of the runners that smashed their goals as well. Trinity Mugg who got a new PR of 27:45 and chopped off 3 minutes and 55 seconds from her previous record. Second up is Eli Clifton, he had a PR of 17:42 which means he shaved off 3 minutes and 25 seconds. Emme Gancer had a goal to break 19 minutes in this race and she crushed that goal by 56 seconds, getting a new PR of 18:04. 

I could go on and on about how much determination and hard work these MS cross country athletes have put in so far this season. I can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! Our next meet is Tuesday for a Big 8 Jamboree.
