After a 70-minute bus ride, the 8th grade team was a little disappointed to realize how fast this evenings competition would be over. It was obvious with a score of 33-4 after the first quarter, even with pulling off the press, that a running clock would definitely be in affect. The girls attempted to slow things down to get as much of a basketball game in as they could. They finished the 2nd quarter 44-6, the third quarter 58-8 and the 4th quarter 58-10. All girls contributed to the win. Stats for the night include kellenberger with 18 points, Gerisch with 11, Burg with 10 points, Jones with 7, Lockhart & Dalton each with 5, & Robidou with 2. The refs and fans of Maple Valley were very complimentary of not only the Stockbridge girls' play but also their sportsmanship. 
The girls take on Olivet at home next on Monday 1/27 @ 5:30pm. Come out and support your Panthers!!
