The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams traveled to Turkeyville on Tuesday for the GLAC Championship meet. Both teams were 2nd in the standings heading into the meet. The girls team was shorthanded but ran well to finish 3rd in the race and tied for 2nd overall. Rylee Tolson was the overall League Champion! Bri Hill, Julianna Debozy, and Kaitelyn Walker finished 11th, 12th, and 14th respectively to each earn All Conference Second Team honors. 

The Boys team took advantage of league-leading Leslie being down 1 man to win the race with a close score of 41 to 44. This gave the Boys Cross Country team a share of the Conference Championship! This is the programs 8th Conference Championship in 10 years. Dalton Satkowiak, Collin Cook, and Micah Bolton earned All Conference 1st Team honors by placing in the top 7 of the race. Andy Schlaff earned All Conference 2nd Team honors while Ben Chapman, Brock Jones, and Jonah Coffman each earned Honorable Mention All Conference honors. Brandon Howlett met the criteria for Honorable Mention All Conference by finishing 21st but due to a league rule one team is limited to only 7 runners being eligible for All Conference. This was a great day for Stockbridge Cross Country as we prepare for the Regional on Saturday.

Julianna Debozy and Sidney Gipe ran new personal records in the girls race while Micah Bolton, Andy Schlaff, Ben Chapman, and Brandon Howlett ran new PR's for the boys.
